 Integrating marketing and public relations for over two decades,
Elisa Southard's experience as a published writer, public relations/marketing
consultant, television moderator, speaker, and broad-based community
volunteer have made her an connoisseur on all the ways to attract
new clients through personal contact.
As founder of MarketSkills, Elisa sparks
individual practitioners and corporate executives
to find the marketing talents hidden in their technical
skills. Clients include the Clarke Investment Group of Wachovia
Securities, and the Outsource Group, a past leader on the Inc.
500 list of the fastest growing private companies in America.
As a speaker, Elisa uses stories, skills
and interactive drills to help professionals get
out of the office and in front of prospective clients and referral
sources. She has brought tools and techniques to professionals
including the California Society of CPAs, the Professional Association
of Childhood Education, the Association of Insurance and Financial
Advisors, the Sacramento Artists in Action and The Executive Council
(TEC).

As a community leader,
Elisa chaired the board of directors for two
prominent San Francisco Bay Area organizations, the
Walnut Creek YMCA and Chamber of Commerce. She has received the
prestigious YMCA Spirit Award. An arts enthusiast, she serves the
community as a member of the Diablo Regional Arts Association.
Elisa graduated magna cum laude from California State University
, Hayward , and is accredited by the Public Relations
Society of America. Elisa lives with her husband
and pets in historic Benicia , California .
